South West Australian Arts Festival

Wednesday, December 19th, 2018

Every year The City of Mandurah holds a Stretch Arts Festival which showcases art and music in a free event. We were hired to create a highlight video of the weekend of activities. Craig and I enjoy videoing these types of events as you are able to capture people naturally having fun without being aware of the camera.

Throughout the two day festival, participants experience and enjoy performance, dance, music, visual arts, theatre and outdoor activities with events being delivered by renown and upcoming local, Australian and international companies and artists. Check out the video we made showing the highlights of the weekend. Definitely worth a visit if you can make it in 2019.

Autism Awareness Day – April 2nd

Wednesday, December 5th, 2018

Of all the work we do and all the videos that we make, this is the most important to Craig and myself.
Our son Nate was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was 3 years old. He attends a mainstream school with the help of a special needs aide.
The school holds an Awareness Day every year to teach children about the disability and difference.

Through education comes understanding and through understanding comes acceptance.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all school’s embraced this?

Mental Health Awareness Video #GotYourBack campaign

Wednesday, November 28th, 2018

Compass Group Australia wanted to help their employees who are struggling with mental health but haven’t as yet asked for help. Unfortunately there has been suicides with fly in fly out employees in the past. I love the very pro active approach that Compass are taking to help not only their employees but anyone else who gets the opportunity to watch this video.

So over the last few months they flew me to Darwin and Brisbane in Australia to capture these brave employees who were willing to share their stories to help others in this very important video about mental health. These are real stories from real people who want to help you! Remember there is always help out there we have #gotyourback

Goliath Fitness Is Not Your Average Gym

Wednesday, November 21st, 2018

Testimonial driven videos are such a great way to get your message across without the hard sell. Explain what you do through your interview, then let the client sing your praises in their own words. Remember people connect with people rather than a faceless voice over. Be honest and real and the audience will connect.

Goliath was a great business to work with as they trusted us completely. We suggested they put forth a main promotional video and then 2 or 3 subsequent videos that explained certain parts of their gym that they wanted to promote. This way they ended up with a short, sharp entertaining promotional video that didn’t drag on for 20 minutes explaining everything that didn’t appeal to the general audience. They loved the idea, so we ended up with a main promo video, a mums and bubs targeted video, a video about training and physio and lastly a video targeted around their GoFit Hiit program.

Over $1500 for Madi’s Surgery!

Monday, August 17th, 2015

On Saturday we raised $1,564.85 for Madi Molloy!

We couldn’t have done it without the help of Rockingham Shopping Centre who donated a $500 gift card and a brand new bicycle that we successfully raffled off.

Thank you so much for everyone who donated and for the wonderful mascots from Chipmunks Port Kennedy who gave up their time to help a special girl.

The 6 year old dance girls from Pure Beat Dance were there all day selling books and cricket sets and being so cute that nobody could walk past them yelling “would you like to make a gold coin dalmation???”

If you haven’t made a donation yet, don’t worry we are doing a sausage sizzle this Sunday at Masters Home Improvement in Baldivis or you can just make a one off donation to Madi’s go fund web page

Hope to see you there!

Wake up your audience by livening up your training videos!

Monday, May 18th, 2015

Training videos can traditionally be tedious and boring with a monotone voice over that will put you to sleep within minutes. A great way to liven things up is to replace this outdated video style with a role play. It is the same message but delivered with professional actors in a scripted scene. It is an easier format for viewers to retain information and they can see what they are being taught in relevant examples.

In these two video one scenario is played out in two different ways so the viewer can see the difference between doing something the correct way and the incorrect way and how a customer reacts because of this.

The Tourism Council of WA hired us to create these videos in order to train customer service personnel in the tourism industry. “The benefits to the trainers using the videos has been professionalism and the ability to use realistic examples, especially for the visual learners. Feedback from the trainees has been positive” – Julia from the Tourism Council of WA
